Kate Timms is teaching in Mulberry class this year, supported by Charlie, Nam, Bing, Nicky and Matt.
The school value this term is courage.
Our topic this term is 'Whatever the Weather!' The children will learn about different types of weather and the effects of extreme weather conditions. They will also compare the weather in different parts of the world.
In Science, the children will learn about plants. They will plant seeds and bulbs then observe, describe and record the changes that they see as the plants grow. The children will also investigate what plants need in order to grow.
As always, we will adapt and develop our plans according to the children's interests and fascinations as the term progresses.
The children will continue to work towards their ongoing individual goals, focusing on reading, writing, Maths, social interaction and speech and language. Our whole school value this term is courage.
The children will also continue to go horse riding (Mondays), swimming (Thursdays) and to Thomley (Fridays) once each fortnight. PE will be every Wednesday.
Please remember to send a water bottle and wellies into school every day.
We look forward to sharing the children’s work and celebrating their achievements throughout the term! If you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to email me anytime or contact me via your child's home-school book or the school phone number.
